After a long career as an advertising art director, David switched to full-time illustration.
He infuses his work with the knowledge and experience gained from working with some of the nation's finest photographers, illustrators and writers. David's commercial clients include Disney, Nintendo, Delta Airlines, Sony, Harcourt Publishers, and many others. His breathtakingly realistic colored-pencil portraits of children are timeless mirrors of each child's spirit and personality.

    David and his wife, Robin, live in Davidson, North Carolina. His son, Drew, is an architect
and his daughter, Dinah, works for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.
